Acknowledging the consistently high level display of skills in the piano category, AAF introduced a new format in for the piano category in 2018. Since then, the piano category now has 4 sub-categories and cash awards will be given to the top 3 participants in the Diploma & Above category. The amounts are $800, $500 and $300 respectively.*

*Subject to Rules and Regulations. The adjudicators of AAF 2019 and the Artistic Director reserve the rights to withhold the cash awards.

COPA, in Spanish means ‘cup’ or ‘trophy’. At AAF, COPA is also the acronym for ‘Champions of Performing Arts’. Any school or institution that is represented across three or more genres in any of the group categories, will qualify to compete for the COPA ASIA or ASIA CUP! The school or institution with the highest aggregate score will be declared ‘Champions of Performing Arts’ at the Gala Closing Concert!
